Are you posting on Instagram and automatically publishing to your Facebook page? This option is a real time saver as it allows you to post once and have your content appear on both.
But a lot of people are doing it wrong. Have you seen posts on Facebook filled with hashtags?
That’s because the photo was automatically posted from Instagram using the caption filled with hashtags. Honestly, it doesn’t look great. But there is a simple solution. Comment your hashtags instead of putting them in the description on Instagram!
Select the photo you would like to post on both Instagram and Facebook and compose your description, leaving out the hashtags. If you know your niche may benefit from 1-2 hashtags on Facebook, then do use them in the description.
After figuring out which hashtags you would like to use for your post, add them as a comment to your photo.
By the time you have added your hashtags in the comments, your post should have been added to Facebook. The post on Facebook looks much cleaner without the hashtags!
